What’s to come!?

Since our blog is still pretty new, we thought it would be worthwhile to give you a brief overview of the kinds of things we will be discussing here at Greane Tree’s Trunk.  We have two contributors:  Annmarie Lanesey, GTTG’s Chief Operating Officer and Joseph Payette Jr., GTTG’s Chief Technology Officer (Our bios).

First and foremost, this is where you will  find updates on our company, news and events, software releases, and project highlights! In general this is a place for  us to share the things that we find interesting and relevant to our business, the Capital Region/ Tech Valley software community, and to you.

We  subscribe to a practice called ReBlogging which means  we like to repost  and share articles and info from our favorite blogs,  things that we find particularly interesting or insightful, things having to do with our favorite technologies, emerging tech or cutting edge computer science, as well as musings on technologies effects on culture and life, computing culture, software design best practices, GNU, lean software development – just to name a few!  From time to time we will even be posting about cutting-edge electronic art, as the lines between social media, computers, science and life continue to converge!

The Legal Technology Industry is another subject of special interest to us here at GTTG.  You will frequently find us posting articles on  the latest and greatest noteworthy products in the field, and all things related and relevant to our product Cinecase.

Here’s some news – We are proud to announce our placement in the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Business plan competition! We give a special shout out to the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce,  it’s Entrepreneur Program leader extraordinaire Janet Tanguay, the “panel” including, the chamber’s Kevin Catalano, Bill Polk of Business Advisory Services, and Beth Muthersbaugh or First Niagara Bank, as well as Repeat Business Systems, for providing such a spectacular third place prize of a printer/ scanner/ fax, that will come in extra handy when scanning multi-page PDF’s!   Also thank you to the wonderful speakers at the graduation ceremony: Nehme Frangie of VP of Operations and Relationships at Vicarious Visions, Albany County Executive Michael Breslin, Mark Egan, President of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Rena Graf for her wonderful and hysterical music!  Last, but not least, a very special thanks to the EAP class member businesses for their drive and inspiration.  Here are some of the wonderful and amazing people we had the honor of meeting along the way:
